These terms cover your use of AuxWire ("the app"), an independent Android Automotive OS client for Plex, developed by Jarai Howard. By installing or using AuxWire, you agree to these terms.
AuxWire is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Plex, Inc. "Plex" and related marks belong to their respective owner. AuxWire is a client application only — it connects to Plex's own services and to your own Plex Media Server using Plex's public APIs, in the same way any Plex client does.
AuxWire does not host, provide, distribute, or have any control over your media library. Everything you play through AuxWire comes from your own Plex Media Server, which you own or have been given access to. You are solely responsible for the content in your library and for ensuring you have the rights to store, stream, and download it. Jarai Howard is not responsible for the content of any Plex library accessed through AuxWire.
AuxWire uses your existing Plex account for sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your Plex credentials secure and for any activity that happens through your account while signed into AuxWire. During the current closed-testing period, access to AuxWire may be limited to invited testers and may change or end at any time.
Don't use AuxWire to attempt to access a Plex server or library you don't have permission to access, to interfere with the operation of Plex's services or any Plex Media Server, or to reverse engineer the app for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use.
AuxWire is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It's a personal, independently developed project — there's no guarantee it will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and features may change or be removed without notice, particularly during the current testing phase.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jarai Howard is not liable for any damages arising from your use of AuxWire, including loss of data, service interruptions, or issues arising from your interaction with your own Plex Media Server or account.
These terms may change as the app develops. If they change, the update date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
